Brigade Enterprises Ltd. has launched Brigade Cherry Blossom-a plotted premium development in Malur, East Bangalore-where potential revenue exceeds INR 225 crores.

A total area of 20 acres and 11 gunta, and a total developmental area of 4.51 lakh sq. ft. are jointly promoted as a joint venture project. Of the 338 plots developed, the dimensions of **30×40 ft. and 30×50 ft. appeal to people across strata, from individual homebuyers to long-term investors.

The project, prominently situated in the rapidly growing Malur micro-market, aims via strong connections, promising value appreciation, to target such buyers who want developed land without the need for any `hard and fast’ regulations applying to size or shape. At a distance of 1.5 km from the Satellite Town Ring Road (STRR) and Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway (NE7), the direct connection will lead to all important hubs like Whitefield, Sarjapur, and Hoskote. Upgrading the infrastructure at Malur in the Chennai-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor will provide its residential and investment attractiveness.

By launching, according to Pavitra Shankar, Managing Director, Brigade Enterprises, along with the long-term view of the company.

‘With Brigade Cherry Blossom, we are strengthening our vision of shaping well-integrated neighbourhoods in emerging growth corridors. Malur is an evolving micro-market and upcoming residential hub, and this development reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality and sustainable projects to our customers,” she said.

The development, because of its strategic location and configuration, is expected to attract strong demand from the burgeoning IT and manufacturing workforce of Bengaluru while providing an entry point for investors looking to establish an early foothold in these emerging suburban markets.

Yet another potential string for Brigade Cherry Blossom would be further expanding Brigade’s footprint into East Bengaluru, an area that shows rapid signs of becoming residentially and commercially viable due to industrial investments and improvement in road connectivity.

On the market front, the shares of Brigade Enterprises closed at ₹946.85 on the BSE, down ₹8.75 or 0.92% from the previous close. Analysts feel that the weakness is more a function of larger market sentiment rather than the announcement of the current project, which should enhance the revenue visibility for the company in the forthcoming quarters.

Brigade Cherry Blossom will play a major role in defining the face of residential life in a region about to face momentous changes in the marketplace.
